We build relationships.

And so began perhaps the most pleasurable business arrangement in which I have ever been engaged. We love what Rod has built for us. He took dreams we could barely articulate and turned them into reality. Rod was always accurate with his cost estimates. He always provided material options at different prices. He worked within our cash flow issues. He regularly updated us with the progress of the build and let us come and see it whenever we wished.

I always believed Rod was creating something he cared about as much as we did. He wanted it to be unique and beautiful. He asked to experiment with things at his own potential cost because he thought it would make our cottage special. We always slept easy knowing the build was in Rod’s hands, even when we couldn’t come-up to see what was happening for weeks at a time.

In the end, of course, I could not recommend Rod and Rodco more strongly. Perhaps this might be the best way to put it: if I had the money, I’d build cottages all over Haliburton wth Rod and then give them away simply to have the pleasure of the building process and to know I’d help create things of great and lasting beauty.

``After a few years of looking for a contractor I hired Rodco to build my dream cottage. The process went smoothly and the result is beautiful, I would do it again in heartbeat.
